True Worship: I Breathe therefore I Worship
July 10, 2012 in What is True Worship?
We often say True Worship should be as Natural as Breathing. Therefore, the next logical step is “I Breathe, therefore I Worship.” If we practice that approach and become aware of each breath in a more conscious way, as a literal opportunity to worship, I think we will be able to see life from a very different perspective.
LET EVERY BREATHE BE AN ACT OF WORSHIP Practice right now.
1. Stand or sit up straight.
2. Take a deep breath slowly in….feel the breath of God, the Ruach of God, the Holy Spirit of God charging every cell and tissue of your body with life giving oxygen. Then slowly release the breath, letting all negative feelings, thoughts drain out of your system.
3. Repeat again at least 2 more times, in the Name of the Father, in the Name of the Son and in the Name of the Holy Spirit.
